The game is similar to the real thing, because it shows your chances of surviving, although the chances are not exact. It shows ways people die, and the way that they challenge the king and so on. It represents the murderous route of the plague, and how many people died considering what they were. (King, Priest, Peasant, ect.) The peasants had the most chance of dying because they were around more people, and didn't have the resources to protect them, but it could be spread to everyone else by the peasants.

The preast is the safest, they have the one of the littlest chances of dieing. The peasants are pretty safe to but they are the lowest, which doesn't really matter but some people would rather be higher instead of being safe. I really learned a lot from the game, like how death is always around the corner. This game is a life and death game and how much off a chance people took back then. :DDDD

Andrew White Feudalism Game

The game showed how feudalism was not a very good thing. Everybody died all the time. It didn't matter who you were, you had a 90 percent chance of dying. The only person that was really safe was the priest. This made a lot of sense, because religion was a big factor in that time, and nobody had problems with the church. I think it might make the game better if you added some more "rolling rules" like plagues or maybe even some positive ones like getting promoted.

What I learned about Feudalism from the game was that there was a lot of deaths. There wasn't many people that were safe. I think one of the safest people were the peasents. The priests were the safest of them all though. You have to have a lot of luck to be able to have the priest and there were a lot of peasents. There was a lot of people that tried to overthrow the king. The king died a lot so I would rather be a peasent and just stay out of the way of people. The priest normally doesn't die. The king almost always dies. The lords normally try to be a king and knights try to be lords. There is just way to much dying and I am glad that we aren't Feudalistic.

The feudalism game represents a feudalistic life during the Dark Ages. The priest is the best person to be because he was chosen by God. They have to roll a one two times in a row in the game to die. No one wants to kill him. The King rules everyone and choses the people of the hierarchy. The knight is the most risky place because they were always fighting. The lord and the peasants were both kind of risky but the lord is riskier because everyone wants to kill the lord. No one wanted to kill the peasants. The peasants had it pretty good because everyone wanted them to farm their crops. They had a lot of dirty work but got rewards from their dirty work. The lords had a partially risky spot because they were fighting a lot.

The knights have the most risky lives in the game. It is actually pretty safe to be a peasant. Everyone wants you around to do their stuff. The king is pretty safe to except for when a Lord challenges him. The Lord isn't safe but it is better than being a Knight. The game is pretty much luck and taking risks. You can only challenge the level above you. Peasents can't challenge anyone, unless they become a Knight. There is alot of death in the game. But there was also a lot of death in the dark ages.

It wasn't that hard to be the king but back in the day I could see why it would. It would be hard because everyone would want to be in control because they think they know what to do. The lords are the next highest and i think they dont have a hard as a job the Knights because the knights had to roll 3 times and they had a 2/3 chance of dying every time this game was cool I can see how it related to the Dark Ages because there was a lot death and poor control. I would give this game 7 stars I really liked it..*******

I really like this game because it really represents how the Dark Ages worked. The knights had the worse chances which is like it was back then. They had to go into battle and risk their lives for their king and village. The kings were at the top of the chain and they could die. I think that in real life the king probably was protected more then how the chances were in this game. I think the priest is the one that is protected the most. Which was really true back then. They believe that god was on their side so they could never die. The lords were really just there and they died every once in a while. The peasants were really just in the middle of the mess. They were really better off then the king in the game. In reality, I think the king would be in better care than the peasants. In the game the peasants really have the same chances, but better. They don't get challenged like the king. I really like this game and I think it will help me remember in the future.

Playing the Feudalism game has made me think about different statuses and advantages in the Feudalism society. Obviously the Priest was the safest person in society, because of the protection of the government and the fact that they were seen as holy people. The knights obviously led the most dangerous lives, since they went out to war constantly and died very often. The Lords were fairly safe from most dangers except each other, since they were usually fiercely competitive. The King was safe other than the dangers of enemy and sometimes ally sabotage.

Of course everyone could die randomly from different things, but many deaths came from the hatred between Nobles, or a King and his subjects, or peasants to knights. It was pretty strange how the Priest died every time yesterday, but I suppose it could happen.

I think the game was a lot like the dark ages. You could die really easy. The King ruled over everything but he still could die. The Priest had an advantage because he was close to God so he had a better chance of living. I would want to be a Priest. The Lords and Peasants were pretty close. Lords were only safe to an extent, while peasants had a better chance off. Some Lords wanted to kill other lords. The least safe would have to be the knights. They died the easiest because they were always fighting.

The peasants couldn't kill anybody and the only way they could move up to a knights spot is if the knight moves up or dies.

The Lords wanted the kings power and would do anything to get it like kill him, The priests were the safest. The peasants were pretty safe too because they did all the "dirty work" for the upper classes so if upper classes killed them they would have nobody to do the "dirty work". The knights probably had one of the most dangerous jobs because they had to guard the king or go to war so there is a better chance they would die.

In the game knight normaly have no chance really. I think the lord had more danger then the peasants. Thought that the pesants had it easy because they don't have to be challenged by the knight or lords or kings. thought the king was the worst because you get challenged and can do anything about that had you don't know if your going to die are not. peasant had a less chance of dieing

This game tells us a lot of things about the middle ages. Peasants were really cared about, no one payed attention to them and if they die no one noticed, but they can choose to be a knight and be somebody. Knights were very vicious and killed peasants, but died a lot in the process. Lords were well protected and had a little change of dying, but had the change to be king if he died. The king was the person who picked what peasants died and was in charge of everything, but if a lord chose to be king, that lord would try to over throw him/her. The only one that didn't die that much was the priest who was born to be with god. God was also protecting the priest.

I think the game we've been playing in class show's us how feudal society works by showing us how many people die. It shows that the priest had it the easiest because they teach about God, who was very important then. The priest had a definite advantage. What surprised me was that the King could die so easily. It didn't seem like he had that much power, or protection. I saw that the king could easily be replaced. Under the priests were the lords, which didn't have much of an advantage. They had a pretty good chance of dying. Knights had it the worst. They had to protect people, and also protect themselves; they were likely to die quickly. If they were lucky they could become a lord, or even a peasant. Peasants were pretty likely to live, and get farther in life. Since they were wanted to farm they were kept around. All they needed was good. Generally the only way they would usually die would be from disease. They could even end up being king. All in all, everyone can and will die.

From what I learned from the game we played in class is that in a fuedal society people would keep dying and trying to move up. The hiearchy list went in order of king, lords, knights, priest, and lastly the peasants. If you drew the preist you are the safest, no one can challenge you and you have the best advantage to stay alive. The worst one to draw is a knight, a knight will die the easiest.

As a class we were all having fun, laughing, and all had the conpetitive attitude. Everyone wanted to be a peasant because they honored you even if you were at the bottom, you made the king money by farming. The most important thing I learned about a feudal society is that people always die and try to get a higher ranking.

The king was at the top and controlled everything. He made all the major decisions and had complete authority. In the game he chose the order of who rolled. The lords were under the king. They were trying to get rid of each other so when the king died they could take his place without anyone opposing him. They wanted the king's authority and would try to kill him for it.

Knights were a little below them. They had a higher mortality rate because they were the ones fighting in battle. Peasants were below them. They didn't really do anything to make other's want them dead, so they only had to worry about natural deaths like disease and age.

Priests had nobody to worry about attacking them. They were protected by the knights and "God". No one would kill a man of God.

The game that we played in class, very well describes how feudalism worked in real life. In the middle ages, Priests have an unfair advantage because he is protected more than most. The knights also have a very risky job. They are always going out to war and getting into fights. Peasants have some of the easiest roles in the middle ages. They were pretty easy to kill. They never could move up in role to knight, lord, or king. In the game we could but in real life they couldn't. A knight could move up but he had to prove himself. A king was pretty easy to kill. True, he was guarded a lot but according to the game he was very easy to kill. The roles of everyone were important though.

The priest became ruler. The middle ages were a very dangerous time to be living.

Topic: How does the game that we played show us real life feudalism?

In a feudalistic government people had disadvantages, and advantages. However, the priests had the most advantages, because they were protected by their followers. As For the King he still had protection, just not as much. The king, you could say, didn't have god by his side. Knights, lords, and peasants would most likely die first.

Peasant dies the most quickly, because they have the least protection. The knights die just as quick though, they are always in battle fighting for protection. As for the lords, if they question any of the lords actions they would die. In a feudalistic government it would be best if you were a priest.

It helps me remember the levels of the classes. The peasants sit around the king and serve him/her. They remind me of servants. Then there's the knight. They have to roll 3 times. Which ups there chances of dying. Just like in real life when they are at battle. The lord is just there. I don't really know what they do but I know they can challenge the king which makes me think that they could be a king if the king dies. I don't know if that's true but it reminds me of that. Then there's the king. The king is important so they wear a hat in the game. They only have to roll once and have a 1 out of 6 chances of dying. I think the game helps me. It's also a fun game.

How does the Feudalism Game show how feudalism works?

The Feudalism Game we played in class showed how real life feudalism worked because the priest has an advantage because he is protected more than the others. The lords did not have a great advantage of living because they had to be enlisted to fight in war; they carried a greater chance of dying that way. The knights have less of a chance to live because they are constantly in battle. On the other hand, the peasants have the highest chance in success to live during the middle ages. This is because they are never in war, and never have people wanting their position. This caused great uncertainty in trying to survive. In conclusion, the Feudalism system was very dangerous.

The game showed us Feudalism because in real life the priest is more protected then everyone else and in the game he also had an unfair advantage against everyone else. The riskiest person is the knights because they weren't protected at all and died a lot easier then anyone else. King didn't die as easy as the knights in real life but it seemed like there was always a different King every few years because one would either die from diesease or be killed in wars. The Lords were more likely to die then the King but less likely then the knights. Because there were so many peasants in the world they were less likely to die because they never had to protect anyone and they were the lowest so no one was fighting for their position. I realized that feudalism is extremely dangerous for everyone in the kingdom. Everyone died...a lot!

Peasants got treated bad and they had to do things for king. They earned low income for doing hard work for there king. The priest is most protected during the middle ages because god was protecting Him. the priest had it the easy way and got things for blessing people.

The knights had a real bad time they were always fighting and guarding. The game chance for knights was terrible they always died before most of the people. Knights had to die for there king if people were gonna attack him. The king one of the easiest jobs he just watched fights and tried to get rich or try to kill everyone.

It shows how life worked back then, like the king and knight had the quickest way of dieing because the knight was always fighting and everyone wanted to be king so they would kill the king to claim the spot. The priest on the other hand had the most likely chance of living because he was the most protected because he was on gods side. the peasants would usually live because no one really had a reason to kill them, the only way they would die pretty much is if they got the black plague or someone had a grudge against you
